Willenabrina Country Women’s Association recently held their Annual Meeting.

Leading the Branch for the next year will be president Sandrae Stronach, secretary Judy Lynch, and treasurer Julia Hausler.

Annual reports showed that the branch has had a very successful year, both financially and socially, with interesting guest speakers and a variety of competitions to test member’s skills.

The aggregate winners from the competitions held throughout the year were Heather Atwell in first place, Elaine Quick in second, and Judy Lynch in third.

The Branch plans to hold a street raffle on December 7, with vouchers for the supermarket and butcher as prizes.

The Branch have also donated this year’s Resilience Award to a local secondary school student.

On December 12, members will meet at Rainbow for a day out, and lunch at the Cafe for their annual Christmas break-up.

A charity bowl will available for donations, with proceeds to be given to The Christian Emergency Food Centre in Horsham.

Members have planned their syllabus for the coming year, and 2024 promises to be another enjoyable year.

Thank you, on behalf of the Branch, to the Herald team for printing our reports each month.

Thank you also personally from me, as this is my last repor - the new secretary, Judy Lynch, will be the reporter for 2024.

Cheers and a Happy Christmas to you all.
